What it signals
The marked recording, programme, Artwork or text may contain strong language, sexually suggestive or otherwise mature themes, descriptions of violence, or other material not intended for children.
The signal
before entry.
IceMoon preserves the work as authored. The red E gives visitors concise notice when a recording or related material may contain explicit language or mature subject matter.
What it does not mean
The label is an advisory. It does not say that every moment is explicit, and it is not by itself an age-verification system or permission to expose separately governed adult work.
How IceMoon uses it
The E follows content whose authored context may cross the general-audience boundary. The public entrance remains restrained; the visitor receives the signal before choosing to continue.
